The Wear Resistant Dickoron Dick Titan Steel

The Friederich Dick 12" Oval Profile, Special Super Hard Steel is designed to be a hard wearing steel. Part of F. Dick's premium Dickoron line, the Dick Titian is an impressive steel. F. Dick describes it as: "The sharpening steel with (slightly) more abrasion. Thanks to its wear-resistant, ultra-hard special coating, it is 3 x harder than standard sharpening steels. This makes it particularly suitable for knives with high hardness."

Standard Steel

This steel is classified as a Standard Steel. Standard Steels have relatively heavy grooves and work well to restore an edge on a dull knife. Standard Steels leave a toothy edge that will cut well, but may have a bit of a sawing action. They can be used as stand-alone steels, or as a coarser lead-in to Fine Steels.
